Ah, if we could only enjoy the experiences of the armed forces. In this episode the women were waken at the crack of daylight. A big ol scray, tattooed drill sergeant wakes them by screaming at the top of his lungs. In fact, he's screaming so hard his veins are bulging out the side of his neck. During the morning of this episode of The Bachelor: An Officer and a Gentleman, Episode 3, the girls need to impress the drill sergeant more than Andy Baldwin. Why? Because, the drill sergeant is the one to choose who gets a rose. Nicole was the last down to line up outside. By the time she comes down, the drill sergeant just told her to turn back around and pack her bags. She turns right around and the drill sergeant yells and tells her to get back in line! Kind of funny. Now that they are all lined up, they are given boot camp again. Instead of Andy style, this is more of an intense boot camp. Erin Parker is not too excited , especially for just having done this on the previous date. Bevin Powers is all excited and ready to impress Andy and the drill sergeant... Well, that didn't last too long. Within the first few minutes, as she is jumping through the tires, she falls and fears she has broken her ankle that has previously been broken before. Dr. Andy Baldwin comes to the rescue! He comes out and takes a look at here leg. He gives his diagnosis and in comes the ambulance. Before Bevin Parker is taken away in the ambulance, Andy Baldwin gives her a rose. Ahhh... no pain, no gain! Afterwards, the group goes to spend some quality time together. They head out to a day spa to play in the mud. Wow! We've never seen such a side of Andy... he is all touchy-feely with the ladies, especially Stephanie from South Carolina. As the day progresses, their touchy-feeliness increases and the competition is on for the other girls. Later in the day the girls are split into too groups again for dates. Kate Brockhouse, Danielle Imwalle, Erin and Amanda are off to the races, literally. That leaves Tessa and Peyton to spare... meaning, they will be on a two-on-one date. And we know what that means... one will stay and one will go. The girls make it out to a race track for their chance to impress Andy Baldwin with their driving skills. Erin talks up her skills of racing and says the only date that could be better was if they were at the shooting range. Well, as she gets her turn at the wheel we come to find out that she doesn't even know how to drive a stick. WTF?! All the other girls do fairly well around the track, except Kate, who takes out a bunch of cones. Because of Erin's willingness to learn to drive a stick so quickly, Andy Baldwin decides to choose her for the personal time. And, now to the two-on-one date. Lieutenant Andy Baldwin ends up taking the two girls, Tessa and Peyton, to somewhere he is very familiar with... a Naval carrier ship. The two girls both admit that it is going to be hard, because they have become friends during the show, but they know what they have to do. After getting the tour of the whole ship they spend some time as a trio. The end of the night nears where Andy Baldwin has to choose one of the two. And the winner is... Tessa! Poor Peyton has to stay on the Naval carrier ship as Tessa and Andy Baldwin take off in a helicopter back to ABC's Bachelor Land. Back at ABC's Bachelor Land, it is approaching that time we like to call the Rose Ceremony. After Andy spends some time with the ladies, he cuts to the chase. And the other two going home are... Amanda and Erin. |
